Trip to Gippsland

Had a lovely time in Gippsland. I stayed with a mate in Bairnsdale and we drove over to Lakes Entrance on Sunday and had afternoon tea at Metung. I used my new camera for the first time and some of the pictures will be put up on here soon.

Kiss my Brass - Melbourne 21 April

I had the absolute pleasure of watching the divine Ms Bette Milder perform at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne last night and although I might not have been an avid fan when I went in, I certainly was when I came out. She was wonderful, even an equipment malfunction did not dampen the enthusisam of the crowd - in fact it gave us time to practice out Mexican Wave technigue. I would love to know where she gets all her energy from, singing and dancing for well on three hours (some of it where a fish tale!!) - the show was amazing. To put it simple - Ms Milder is one hell of an entertainer!

Around the World Trip

In May I will be flying off to San Francisco, where I will spend a week, before flying over to the United Kingdom. After a short spell with the relatives in Nottingham, I will spending another week in London and then finishing off with five days in Austria, before flying back to Melbourne. This will be my first trip to the USA and I am looking forward to seeing the sights and meeting the people ( ok the guys ) from SF.
