Pam Ann

Had the pleasure of seeing the talented Pam Ann at the Hamer Hall in Melbourne yesterday evening . Certainly not the kind of show I would take my elderly aunt to, but the majority of the audience there appeared to appreciate her humour. Although not the group sitting in front of me and my friend, who didn't come back after the interval. At least we got a far better view of the second half of the show.

Shining Eureka

I took this picture on the way home (15/2/08) and this picture captured the afternoon sun streaming off the gold surface at the top of the Eureka Tower in Melbourne. I'm not sure that people facing that side of the building would appreciated it quite as much! Blogged with Flock

GPS gone blue

Welcome to the inventors of the Bluetooth GPS Treated myself to a new gadget, this time a GPS receiver with bluetooth so that it can talk to my Nokia. I'm very happy with the device, it fits in my pocket and I can get the nokia to track my trip with its inbuilt software , or use the downloaded Maps and Nav4All navigation software for the phone to give me directions. Although I have found that both of the navigation applications are using maps that are seriously out of date, they don't even have a square that was built in Melbourne in 2001 shown on the maps!
