One day at a time

Spent the weekend with my UK mate in Ballarat and Daylesford. Had great weather and a fun time. Been to a couple of great restaurants and enjoyed a superb evening at the Sovereign Hill "Blood on the Southern Cross" light and sound show. There really hasn't been a down side apart from the times my mind has turned to what faces me at work next week and the appalling reception on my mobile devices.

Went to the venue of the rowing and canoeing during the 1956 Summer Olympic Games held in Melbourne (apart from the bits held in Ballarat).

After driving and lunch, Graham and I wandered around Sturt Street, passed the Town Hall decorated for Christmas.

Spent the day at Melbourne Zoo, better than I thought it would be and commend the Bistro for their gluten free options.

Have had a lovely time in Caloundra with Campbell. We've had a relaxing break, shopping, eating and sight seeing. Back to Melbourne tomorrow.

Having dinner in a mock Mexican restaurant in the middle of Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. Does it get any stranger??
