Traveling again

Dropped the car off after trying to refuel it twice. Now waiting at the coach station. Should have booked the earlier coach.

Sisters Act

Spent the afternoon with my sisters and after a rather poor lunch and slightly better coffee, we talked about them coming over to see me in Australia.

Happy family

Sisterly evening

Spent the evening with my eldest sister and her husband chatting about so many things.

Third Week

Final week with my parents and the British summer is being particularly disappointing, raining and cold wind.

Monk like

I'm being so well behaved its virtually virtuous

Mr & Mrs

Attended the lovely wedding and reception of my youngest nephew,

Wedding planner

Drove down with my sister to Stowmarket for the wedding over the weekend of my youngest nephew. Weather was appalling all the way here and failed to find the Church in time to see the rehearsal. Caught up with most of the family, except the groom and one other nephew.

Note - get a four door car next time

Suited

My suit for the wedding has arrived and it fits fine, should go well with the shirt combinations I have picked up.

Dinner interrupted

Had dinner with my mate Steve and usually the conversation flows really easily, but on this occasion it was more difficult to keep the conversation going. What was said was interesting but didn't come easily.

Day with parents

Was nice to rest up after all the traveling but it's clear that Mum is getting more confused by things around her. šŸ˜„

Day with parents

Spent a day with my parents in Nottingham, nothing exciting but pleasant.

Pays to complain

The internet was out at the Premier Inn so they refunded me.

Very long haul

This trip has taken its toll on me. Awake at 2am, but in a comfortable bed after over 30 hours travelling.

Final painful day

Friday was painful both physically and emotionally. Had two performance conversations that where I had to give a lower rating than the staff member and and the physical pain was in the usual place.

Brisbane bound

Sitting in Brisbane international airport waiting to board my flight to Taipei. Then onward to London. So far so good, hope to stay awake much of this flight and sleep on the next one when I have a bit more room.

Penultimate

Have our farewell lunch for three people moving one including me. Good feed to Miss Parham.

Home bound

Another day interrupted by a bout of diarrhea and this one hung on, going have to stop the open bowel exercise in the morning and concentrate on the evening. At least this time I wasn't at work when it hit, it started earlier and I could work from home. Did think about going in after lunch but it was still uncomfortable, so stayed home. Did go in for radio though.

Painful meeting

Last managers meeting turned sour as I clashed with one of the other direct reports to my manager. I am so glad that will not have to deal with attitude of some people in the team when I move groups and they are probably happy that I am leaving too.

Final Sunday Brunch

Met up with Paul, Terry and Shaun for my final brunch before my trip to the UK. I introduced them to Mikey and hope to take him along a few more times when I get back in August.

Satuday lunch

Took my cousin Avan to see my aunt Busts and we all went out for lunch. Afterwards I replaced Buster digital box connected to her TV. I think its going to confuse her for a while as its not the small e as the old box.
