Day indoors

Spent most of the day in the apartment. Did some study and mopped the floors too.

Decide a march is a step too far

Pulled out of the Pride March and resigned from the Pride Council, I'm not the right fit for that committee. They need someone more comfortable with expressing their queerness.

Goodbye to the buses

Will be very happy to see the trains back on Monday.

Enjoyed the drive to the shops

Its been a while but I finally enjoyed driving the S-cross, just a short trip to the local supermarket.

Stuck down again

Got hot by another bout of diarrhoea, thankfully I managed to work from home as it stuck before I left for work.

Picnic wars

Thought I was going to have to separate two friends over preparations for the picnic tomorrow !

Half a bay

Drove round half of the bay with Campbell and had lunch at a very popular winery.

Baked a cake

Made a couple of sponge cakes and was going to put some butter cream between but the butter smelt off. So frozen the sponge cakes and will get some real cream.

Sunday at the Carnival

Spent about an hour and half at the Midsumma Carnival. Did my stint at the VPS stall but had enough after that, it was very hot!

Stupid sees stupid does

Was cut off by a taxi this evening and I changed lanes without looking first. Thankfully there was no one in the other lane but I as so incensed by the taxi, I was only focused on him!

Great day painful evening

Had a delightful day with my best mate, we had lunch with my aunt and then went shopping. Unfortunately have been suffering from another bout of diarrhea which is still going!

One small step

Went to gym last night! Different equipment and more compact but at least I took the first step.

Standing room

First packed train this evening, got a seat eventually. Will need to work out the best place to stand at Parliament.

Doctors orders

Went to the doctors with a couple of issues. Nothing to worry about but need to increase the fibre in my diet!

Mikey my NZ friend

Didn't realise Mikey had a New Zealand passport so he's volunteered to counter sign mine. I've let a previous colleague from Joy know that I was very thankful for her offer to help.

Brunch with muscle

Had the pleasure of Brian joining us for brunch, nice to see him as always.

Maps out of date

Had the new car less than a month and the built in sat nav is complaining that the maps are out of date!

Little things matter

After being over charged for lunch, I'm very unlikely to go back there again.

New second niece

Chantelle gave birth on New Year's Day to a girl, Abba Belle.

Started studies

Put the official manual on my ereader and started to plow through it ahead of the exam in February.

First Hastings Lunch of 2016

Image
Took myself down to Hastings to have lunch with my aunt and deliver a calendar

Final trials of 2015

Got the tyre replaced, they were busy and it took over an hour, plus $235! Driving to Southland I received a text to say my internet had been turned on by SpinTel, so had to call iiNet to cancel that order. However, when I got back, the internet wasn't working, called SpinTel support, but they couldn't fix it. I tried installing the latest firmware and running the setup wizard, the internet started working.

New year

Might be alone but happy here watching the fireworks on the big screen and no unofficial ones going off!
