One day at a time

Whilst I should be excited about the prospects of owning my second apartment, I am only filled with dread about the whole affair and a sadness about the other matters happening around me at the same time. Whilst is been close to tears on the train home, I wonder if my mother is feeling something similar.

After a long wait the paper work has been completed for the settlement on my apartment and I have the cheque list from my conveyancer. 

Spoke to my sister about my parents, they are both deteriorating, my father physically and my mother mentally. I don't think my father is coping, not from lack of trying but he's not got any experience to fall back on as he has never been the carer before. They both look a lot older these days than then did when I was last over there and that's only a year ago.

Drove down to Hastings and had lunch with my aunt.

Spent the afternoon with Daryl.

Dinner with Brian, Tom and Damien down in South Melbourne. Tom treated us and I had lamb, in a fish shop! I did get a present from Brian from his trip to China and Japan.

Caught up with my best friend Campbell and had dinner in the city before a little shopping and them took the train home.

Yet again then day was interrupted by a bout of diarrhea, so didn't leave the apartment.

Quite literal my stomach is wobbling and its depressing me so why can't I motivate myself to do something about it? I don't want to weigh myself because I'm sure I would be over 95kg.

Another bout of diarrhea meant no radio and no date this evening.

Monday went virtually straight to bed after dinner, felt like I was coming down with the flu.

Spent Sunday afternoon with Daryl. Enjoyed his company and seeing him on Tuesday evening again.

Had a full Saturday with a lunch down in Frankston and then a dinner and party in the city in the evening. Unfortunately was running late to everything, but not my fault.

Had a second date after radio on Tuesday and went to the Gin Palace. I think it went well and hope to see him again.

Was introduced to the music of Carol King on Friday , through a concert of her music at the Arts Centre with Neil. Had a very enjoyable evening.
