One day at a time

Had lunch with Daryl, was nice to see him again.

Spent the afternoon with my best friend, so we could both alleviate the boredom. It worked for the afternoon.

Christmas Day was very long, exhausting but mostly fun. Traffic wasn't too bad in the directions we were traveling. I'm not sure Bill noticed Buster wasn't there. Boxing Day was also big, virtually all the Smith descendants were there. This time I didn't feel exhausted afterwards.

Up early for the start of what I expect will be a long day. First stop is going to be Hastings.

Marna and Danya have come down to spend Christmas with Petra. Buster and I have been invited, but I'm not sure Buster will want to go as it's predicted to be very hot on Christmas day. Boxing day will be all the family round at Brett's place.

It's been very quiet at work, had some work to keep me interested but also been surfing the net a lot too.

Had issues on Friday and ended up being admitted to hospital. It was depressing being in there. No sleep, no food to start with and no visitors. I was so glad to be let out on Sunday.

Went back to have my bandage changed. It seems to be healing now.

I managed to slice the top of my finger off and it hurts! The bleeding as taken awhile to stop.

Had my first Christmas event of the year. Okay except no one sat on our table for lunch!

It's a shame when someone you admire sounds terrible :'(

Another hot day and I've taken settle in the apartment. Although it may have been a wise move as I have some tummy problems again.

The funeral went very well according to all reports and I've missed yet another family gathering. Posted a picture of mum and a few words on Facebook and there has been some support for friends on there, which is very nice.
