One day at a time

So tied at work that I came home and I've spent most of the day asleep, some of it with Oscar the cat sharing the bed.

Got back around lunch time and was too late to pick up Oscar so will pick him up tomorrow morning as originally planned. Put in applications for two jobs, did it twice as there was a mistake in the original covering letters.

Spent the long Australia Day weekend in Hobart. Spent a day at the Museum of Old and New Art MONA and Saturday at the market in Salamanca Place.

Had a very positive performance appraisal with my old manager and will apply for a couple of roles that are available in his new team.

Oscar was very affectionate this evening and followed me everywhere. I was a little late coming home so I don't know if that was the reason or if something had happened during the day.

Bought a comforter, which is a thin duvet. Thought it would be useful in summer.

Travelled down to Hastings to have lunch with my aunt and one of my cousins. Good food and double desserts, they duplicate our order. 

Oscar's climbing frame broken this evening. I noticed one support was wobbling and when I tried to tighten it, the bolt came out of the support. It was a cheap version so I will have to invest in something more substantial and expensive.

Oscar has been behaving strangely this evening. Not at all friendly and more  scardy cat. He did take a tumble off the window bit nothing to indicate he's hurt himself. Will see how he is in the morning m

The 60th Eurovision held in Austria has the best opening of a grand final. Still enjoy watching it.

First day back at the office and also in Joy for 2018. Took the car in as there are buses replacing trains from here to the city. Feel exhausted.

After brunch, spent the day with Campbell and Oscar, although it was very distracting have two people to sit on for Oscar the cat.
