One day at a time

 Thankfully the snap lockdown was only needed for 5 days and as of Thursday we were free again (although with some restrictions). Hopefully I will be able to return to the office again next Tuesday, although the wearing of masks is still required indoors except when eating and drinking. I had my semi-annual performance discussion with my manager and he was very positive about me and I will be put on higher duties while one of my colleagues is absent from the team. I have a couple of important meetings coming up early next week, whilst trying to make sure that the businesses have all updated their budget data. A few have already said they will miss the deadline. I had a nice time with my aunt at lunch at the weekend and although the food she choose wasn't to her liking, my meal was very nice. The trains were delayed this morning so no change there and I have to use Outlook at work but still also use Lotus Notes too. Picked up Oscar from Campbell and he is very confused although he's cuddle up to me on the bed.

Took Oscar to the local vets to get his annual vaccination and he was surprisingly well behaved. He didn't try to escape like the previous times.

Unfortunately Oscar the cat is in the dog house   this evening after peeing on my clothes I had ready to iron. I thought he was just sitting on them but no they were wet when he got up. Not impressed with that kind of behaviour.

The cat was very determined to stay with me later night and no matter what I tried he wouldn't leave my bedroom. In the end he was well behaved but I didn't sleep very well with this lump in the bed.

Finally allowed Oscar to sleep with me as he would leave me alone, he does seems to be nervous when it's windy. He lasted until 2am and then was thrown out for biting.
