One day at a time

One thing I have learnt today is that there are consequences to not being hydrated sufficient and for me these can be both painful and distressing. Time to that in order to afford anything more serious.

Getting into the habit of taking the train in the morning. I should take the tram occasionally though.

Relaxing in the cottage while the rest are out getting massages. Went wine and cider tasting yesterday, after a lunch at the Wombat Hill Café. Today, I think it will be much the same once the rest return from their treatments.

Ended up driving up to Daylesford to spend the weekend with Neil and his friends, have a very nice time and of course eating too much (and wrong stuff). Hope I don't pay for it again tomorrow.

With new toy and grandmother

Had a lovely time with my nephew and his family over the last few days in Jersey. The weather was dry for most of the time and the sun even came out occasionally. We went to the Underground Hospital, which is now a museum of the Jersey occupation by Germany, during WWII and when around the Jersey capital.

Recently sold my old android tablet on ebay. Didn't hear anything for a while and then the purchaser contacted me to tell me the tablet had stopped working. I've tried to be helpful, even sent a second charger in case it helped. Apparently nothing will charge the tablet and now his emails are inferring that it must have been opened, which is untrue and that it was damaged, which is also untrue. Told him I can't help any further.

Looks like someone is moving into number 5. The lights are on but there is no one home.

Busy day, took the day off work to await the delivery of my new sofa. It came just after the old one had been taken away, by a local charity. Looking at the pieces in the daylight, there appears to be a difference between the shading of the two base units, but it might be just the brush of the fabric.

Arranged a charity to come and look at my sofa bed but not until 26 March, the date of the delivery of the new sofa.

Going to see Kylie Minogue this Sundays at the Palace Theatre, with Neil. Have to pick up our tickets after lunch and show starts at 8pm.

Had a great breakfast at the Wombat Hill House cafe this morning. I had a breakfast pizza on a gluten free base and Campbell had scrambled eggs with mushrooms and goat curd. Both were delightful and we'll presented.

Driving up to Daylesford for the weekend of the Labour Day holiday in Victoria. Staying at the Central Springs Inn again just off the main street and will be going to Sault for dinner too.
