One day at a time

After a very bumpy trip up on the sleeper service, we arrived early Monday morning in impressive Aberdeen. The city lives up to its Granite City name, the buildings here are very impressive. We had breakfast at a Witherspoon near our Travelodge before moving on to the tourist information centre. We went round the Provost Skeens house and then around the wintergardens in the south of the city.

My friend Graham has book overnight trains to and from London to Aberdeen in May for the both of us. Looking forward to seeing my first part of Scotland.
