Tomorrow my best mate and I will be flying north for winter to enjoy the warm weather on offer up on the Gold Coast and enjoy playing at being big kids at one or two of the theme parks that are up there!

Melbourne is currently running a queer film festival and I have enjoyed the few films that I have seen so far. The first was a documentary on the making of a porn movie and yes there were lots of naked men, but that's what you kind of expect when it's a documentary about a gay porn movie !! The second movie was a gay detective movie and apart from the gay plot, followed the classic lines of most whodunits I have seen on television and film - at least it was nice to see a happy gay couple living together in this movie.

I have just spent the weekend in Sydney and once again the city has lived up to my low expectations. The men are beautiful, but what they lack is any internal beauty. It's a shame that I have failed to meet one nice guy in this city of queens. I am sure that if I came back slim that it would be a different story, the city based on beauty can only be shallow as every one knows that beauty is only skin deep! Never the less, I have had a fun time - I came up here with no expectations so I am am not that surprised that nothing happened. I did catch up with one of my relatives here and had a nice lunch on the water front with them. I did attend the city's Fair Day celebrations and wandered around admiring all the carefully sculptured physiques. Today I am going back to Melbourne, which is not perfect - it lacks in hot bodies, but it also lacks the attitude that come with them.
