Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of terrible things happening at the moment? The voilence in the Middle East and now the terror threat to flights from the UK - will this stuff ever stop? I don't know who is to blame - in fact both sides of any war have no moral ground to stand on when it is stained with blood. The sad fact is that I know this will touch Australia some day in some way - I don't know where or when, but one day there will be something terrible here and that will be a very sad day. Maybe we should worry about global warming - the planet would be better off without us. Not a very cheerful entry, but I am in that kind of mood.

Spent the long weekend of Queens Birthday on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Including one day enjoying the delights of the Movie World - although there was no way in the world that anyone was going to get me on the Superman Escape ride!
