Very Tempted

F156 from ZTE Once again I feel the urge to buy a gadget and top of the list is this the latest offering on the Telstra Next G network. Offered on prepaid and recently reduced, but I can't think of a good reason to actually buy it! technorati tags: NextG , ZTE , Phone

The waiting is over

Finally the last refund has arrived from HP for the new Ipaq I bought several months ago. Now I am only waiting to see what happens with the Garmin GPS I returned under warrenty - it's so far taken two months and only after I contacted JB HiFi, did I find out that the Garmin dealer here in Australia is waiting for a delivery from Garmin in the USA - if they are going to replace the unit, why don't they just tell JB to provide me one from their stock, rather than waiting for some special delivery?

Molly Weasley - Julie Walters

The last harry!

I've just finished reading the last Harry Potter book and even though I enjoyed it, some of the plot lines at the end didn't make complete sense to me. - Why would the Dark Lord not realise other people could get into the room - it was full of stuff other people had placed there! - Harry's spell was hit by another spell, but he was still able to displace the wand? In the end, it's only make believe and I look forward to seeing the movie version, if just to see the duel between Mrs Weasley (Julie Walters) and Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Botham Carter).

Unwired - Wireless Modem

Unwired - Get Unwired This is the type of modem that you get with the Unwired prepaid service.

Two down - one to go

Good news on the refund front - I have finally received two of them. The one for the GPS and the shaver have finally come through, so I am just waiting for the HP one to come for my new pda. On the subject of waiting for my first GPS to be returned after sending it in for repair - I wonder what will come first, hell freezing over or my GPS ?

New gadgets

Having used up our download limits & suffered a slow down in the speed of our internet, I've purchased a unwired pre-paid modem. It works, after a fashion. It's difficult to get a decent signal and the speed isn't earth shattering, but its better than suffering the cut back service from TPG. Well I have had second thoughts and frankly it's not worth the cost to bump up the speed of the internet - so back it goes, thank heavens for the Money Back Guarantee!!
