Apartment Progress

Image
There has been further progress on the apartments on Victoria Street. There are now walls (some) and a floor, but no roof on the front block, which will contain my apartment. There are still two other blocks to build, so there is still a way to go before the development is completed.

Port Phillip Estate

Had lunch at the Dinning Hall at the Port Phillip Estate in Red Hill. The define view was matched by the define food and wine. Add some excellent company and I can't think of a better way to pass the afternoon (well maybe I can if I really try hard). I think Joseph's in Werribee is still the favourite for birthdays, but this would be a close second.

Work is progressing on the front apartments at Pearson Victoria and look forward to see these develop.

Progress on 460 Victoria St Brunswick

The walls have started to go up on the building D of the complex (only A, B and C to go!). It's great to see that progress is being made and the complex is actually coming to life.

After breakfast, we walked up to Daylesford main street to watch the parade. The crowd was smaller than last year, but then the weather had been much better. There was still a good show and this parade is always lots of fun. Came back to the hotel and then walked up to the Convent Gallery for brunch. Nice place although I object to paying to go into a gallery that is essential a rather big shop. Came back and drove up to the Daylesford Park, although I took a different route than usual and looks like so many others had had the same concerns about parking on a muddy field as the nearby streets were fu...
