One day at a time

Faced a difficult decision today whether to go ahead with the car purchase and whether to trade in my current car. The additional pain of trying to fight to dealer and save $1000 was not for me, the only consolation is that I am getting a decent trade in value. Not 100% comfortable with my decision. I want a new car but I dud not originally want to spend this much of getting one. Hopefully I only have to suffer in the short term to enjoy something better in the long run.

Spent the afternoon with my friend Sox out on the bay coast line and after a nice lunch drove around a little more. Stopped off at a Fantastic Furniture store to have a look at what they had. Had a call from the Volkswagen dealer in Melbourne, to be informed that they were not going to hold the trade-in value on my Swift and they wanted another $1000 to make up the difference.

Decided against going to the Gold Coast by public transport, but did come across a few options for next time I am up this way. Spent a couple of hours wandering around the Roma Street Parklands and had lunch there too, Came back into the city and realised how close Roma Street was to Central Station, Had a quiet night in watching my usual favourite programs although I feel like I have eaten too much.

Woke up early and discovered the air conditioning had gone off during the night. Went shopping and wandered around the city botanical garden. Spent the afternoon in and around the hotel. Had a quick night in although chatted to a few guys online. Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.6

Flew up to Brisbane on Tiger Airways. No issues although their terminal could do with a few more facilities and more security screening. Arrived slightly ahead of schedule and got quickly on way to the city on the airtrain. Met up with Doug and Sox for dinner and had nice Indian meal.
