One day at a time

Went to see the latest version of the Despicable Me movie, which is number 2 and I was crying by the end from laughter. It's soooooo funny!

 

Went to Aldi to buy coffee and also picked up their tablet. The justification being it will be more use at work than this small tablet. Not getting rid of this, it's a good size to take on holiday.

Checked out and left my bags at the hotel. Had lunch with Graham and a quick drink in a bar, before heading to the airport.

Was a tourist and wandered around until early evening when I met up with James and his girlfriend Jennie.

I checked out of the Stay Club and into the Holiday Inn Express, it's so nice to have a real hotel room. Caught up with Graham in the evening on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall in a roof garden and we went to see the recent Star Trek movie.

Went to Brighton for most of the day, but was again let down by my technology as my phone had no internet access while in the town centre. I did find a brooch for Buster that I hope she will like. Went on the Emirates Air Line cable car over the Thames at Docklands and had the car to myself. It was a bit scary when the car began to rock towards the end, but otherwise it was very smooth. Moving to another hotel tomorrow.
