One day at a time

Had a relaxing day for my birthday although I did look at my work emails and expect tomorrow isn't going to be as easy. Today I went shopping and spent my Rivers vouchers, did a bit of study and work for the radio show tomorrow. Watched a Kylie concert from London and did my ironing. Quite a productive day really.

I have had the day of work to enjoy my birthday my way, which so far has meant shopping and lazing around the apartment. I suppose I could do more but not really that interested.

Enjoyed my lunch with Paul, Campbell and Neil at Joseph's restaurant. The service was lacking, which is a shame as it has previously been excellent. The food was very good if a little scarce on the plate. Got driven there in a BMW and it wasn't what I expected, the ride was refined but the space in the front and particularly the head room was limited.

I had the day off as I felt terrible this morning. Shivers and aches all over. Thankfully, its cleared up by the afternoon.

I was on World Wide Wave last night again and I think I'm more suited to sitting on the panel.  It wasn't a bad performance, but I do get tongue tied and butt in, and I have to learn to phrase my sentences so they allow the others to comment.  I'm far more comfortable talking on a show when I'm in control of it.
