One day at a time

Whilst I should be excited about the prospects of owning my second apartment, I am only filled with dread about the whole affair and a sadness about the other matters happening around me at the same time. Whilst is been close to tears on the train home, I wonder if my mother is feeling something similar.

After a long wait the paper work has been completed for the settlement on my apartment and I have the cheque list from my conveyancer. 

Spoke to my sister about my parents, they are both deteriorating, my father physically and my mother mentally. I don't think my father is coping, not from lack of trying but he's not got any experience to fall back on as he has never been the carer before. They both look a lot older these days than then did when I was last over there and that's only a year ago.

Drove down to Hastings and had lunch with my aunt.

Spent the afternoon with Daryl.
