One day at a time

So tied at work that I came home and I've spent most of the day asleep, some of it with Oscar the cat sharing the bed.

Got back around lunch time and was too late to pick up Oscar so will pick him up tomorrow morning as originally planned. Put in applications for two jobs, did it twice as there was a mistake in the original covering letters.

Spent the long Australia Day weekend in Hobart. Spent a day at the Museum of Old and New Art MONA and Saturday at the market in Salamanca Place.

Had a very positive performance appraisal with my old manager and will apply for a couple of roles that are available in his new team.

Oscar was very affectionate this evening and followed me everywhere. I was a little late coming home so I don't know if that was the reason or if something had happened during the day.

Bought a comforter, which is a thin duvet. Thought it would be useful in summer.

Travelled down to Hastings to have lunch with my aunt and one of my cousins. Good food and double desserts, they duplicate our order.
