Going Home

Sad news from home - Nottingham, my father is seriously ill in hospital, so I am going to fly over to see him and the rest of the family. Hasn't really hit me as yet, I'm guess that will happen when I see him in bed in the hospital - never expected this and was a surprise to the family.

Every now and then I get overcome with emotion about what the final outcome of this illness could be and shed a tear or two, I expect more of that when I get home and face the reality of it all.
