Melbourne Cup Trip to Sydney - 2 Nov 2008

Good nights sleep in the hotel and a decent breakfast (not that different to the one that I would usually have).

Went to a walk to Darling Harbour and then went into the CBD, via the Queen Victoria Building. I'm beginning to get my bearings in Sydney now and didn't feel lost wandering around.

In the afternoon, I went to Paddington, via Oxford Street. Mainly I was looking for a supermarket, but didn't find any of the usual suspects.

It was a pleasant walk and the scenery wasn't bad in places.

Spoke to my online mates that I've arranged to see tomorrow and confirmed that everything was still ok. Meeting one in the afternoon and the other in the evening.

I went to the Internet café and checked for messages. Also sent one to my UK mate, Graham in relation to our trip in January.

Thought about going to see a movie in the evening, but instead had a early night and just watched television.

I'm hoping that tomorrow will be interesting.
