TINA ARENA (Official) on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Videos Returned from being entertaining by the amazing singing talents of Tina Arena at the Hamer Hall in Melbourne. She delighted the audience with songs from two recent cover albums of Lost and Love, as well as many of her well known standards. Kane Alexander joined her on stage for two songs and all the songs performed were a delight to listen to. I could not sit still, music that well performed from the heart just makes me want to dance! Werribee Jospeh's Restaurant - Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

Just come back from enjoying an excellent "Express Lunch" at the Joseph Restaurant. As part of the annual Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, numerous restaurants in and around Melbourne over set price two course lunches, including a glass of wine and tea or coffee for $35. A couple of friends and I booked in at the restaurant of the Mansion Hotel at Werribee just outside Melbourne. This was a return visit after enjoying the experience last year and this year was also exceptional. Wonderful food (Thai Beef salad and Chicken Leg Config) and excellent service. I can highly recommend Joseph's at Werribee Mansion.

Sunday 8th March 2009 - Chillout Daylesford

Had a good nights sleep and after a full breakfast, drove to Daylesford to watch the Chillout parade. I got a good spot and got a some good pictures. I met up with Terry and Shaun after the parade, only to realise that I had left my ticket to the Carnival back at the hotel ! Anyway decided to not go back a get it but pay again and spent a good part of the afternoon, sitting in Victoria Park, listening to act or wandering around the stalls. By about 5pm, I had had enough and said goodbye to Terry and Shaun, before walking back to the car. Got some petrol before leaving Daylesford. Got back to the hotel and had a spa bath to relax before dinner, but unfortunately as the evening progressed I was hit by a dose of sun stroke and decided that it wasn't wise for me to drive to Daylesford for the party - so I missed out on that. This weekend hasn't turned out as I expected at all and its a little disappointing that I didn't get to do what I planned to.

Saturday 7th March 2009 - Chillout 2009 Daylesford

Plans went a little awry this morning and I couldn't make the time for the horse riding, plus it took a while to get through to them to let them know. With my plans for the first day sort of out of the window to start with, I filled a little time wandering around the main street in Daylesford, never seen so many rainbow flags flying from so many businesses in one place before. The centre of the town was busy and noticeably with a lot of groups of guys and gals. Drove down to Hepburn Springs to check out where I was going to go for lunch, before grabbing a few grocery items and then heading off to the Novotel in Creswick. The journey was a good 30 minutes from end to end, but thankfully I did not have to wait too long before my room was available. It's a great room, although the king size bed does dominate the room. I drove back to Hepburn Springs for lunch and went to the Old Marconi Factory, just got there in time to have a couple of sausages and watch a game or tw...
