Why do some people think that regulations don't apply to them? On the flight back, a couple of seats away from me, someone was using his iPhone throughout the flight. I hope that it was at least in flight mode, but I doubt it. The stewardess saw him with it and said nothing about it, giving him the green light to ignore the no electronic gadgets during take off and landing. ---- Sent from my 3 mobile

Took a short trip up to Sydney. Not the most organised of trips, but I’ve made the best of it. Some of the planned activities didn’t happen and I was completely worn out (mentally and physically) when I arrived on Friday night. It’s been disappointing that I have not been able to meet up with my mates, but that is my own fault for not giving them enough notice. However it has been a pleasant change from the usual weekend and the weather here has been a lot nicer than I was facing in Melbourne. Still managed to fit in some shopping and a ferry ride, followed this evening by a movie. Finally saw Toy Story 3 and although I enjoyed it, didn’t get as emotional as I thought I would after reading all the media about how sad it was.

Went to see the MTC performance of the King & I at the Melbourne Art Centre. It was an excellent production with some outstanding voices. An very enjoyable evening, just one regret that I wasn't closer to the action. ---- Sent from my 3 mobile

Still going to the gym although trying to combine a social life and gym isn't proving to be simple, especially since I like to go in the evening. For some strange reason, the gym closes earlier on Fridays and over the weekend than the rest of the week.
