Sydney - July 2010

Took a short trip up to Sydney. Not the most organised of trips, but I’ve made the best of it. Some of the planned activities didn’t happen and I was completely worn out (mentally and physically) when I arrived on Friday night.

It’s been disappointing that I have not been able to meet up with my mates, but that is my own fault for not giving them enough notice. However it has been a pleasant change from the usual weekend and the weather here has been a lot nicer than I was facing in Melbourne.

Still managed to fit in some shopping and a ferry ride, followed this evening by a movie. Finally saw Toy Story 3 and although I enjoyed it, didn’t get as emotional as I thought I would after reading all the media about how sad it was.
