Lunch with aunt

Took the new car down to Hastings and took my aunt out for lunch. The drive was fine and the food was excellent. There was a small disagreement between my uncle and aunt about a pair of boots she had bought for him.

I hope I don't get so set in my ways when I reach their age that I can not deal with change. They have some very strange ideas, but the idea that there will be civil war if Australia becomes a republic was one of the daftest I've heard so far.
