One day at a time

Just looked at the forecast for the next few days and it's going to get hot! Mid 30's by the time I return to work. Well I guess it's one way of testing the air conditioning of the new apartment. Posted via Blogaway

Booked my flight to the UK next year. Now looking at hotel accommodation in London for the beginning of June. Planning on staying in the Docklands as I found this very easy to get around on my last trip. Looking at a couple of options of different chains from Holiday Inns to Ibis hotels. Would like to go over to Jersey on this trip and there are some cheap £29 flights available from Gatwick.

Had a pleasant time with my aunt & uncle for Christmas lunch. The drive back was tying, driving through heavy rain and bird strikes.

Final day at work before the extended Christmas and New Year break. Expect it to be busy, yet shorter than a usual working day. If history is repeated, people will start disappearing from lunch time.

Got some good news yesterday, my application for the First Home Owners Boost had been approved and the finds are already in my bank account. Most of this will be set off against my mortgage.

Got into the habit very quickly of taking the tram on the morning and the train back in the evening. Last night had to wait over 15 for the train as I had just missed the previous train, not sure why the Upfield line is run so infrequent in the rush hour.
