Work has hit a new low

Not for me personally, but the management of the department has told seven executive assistants that they are surplus to requirements. It looks like they have taken the opportunity to get rid of people that don't fit in with the more senior EA's and informing them a week before Christmas that essentially they won't have a job early in the new year is disappointing.

This hasn't been run in tamdam with the departure packages and its no surprise the ones that have been "targetted" for redeployment. There are ways of making and delivering tough decisions and this isn't one of them.
