One day at a time

Had the idea that I would add a little colour to the walls in the bathroom, but where to start. Even choosing the colour is not a simple matter, there isn't just one green, there are hundreds of shades and then what type of paint do I need. Then there's the equipment, brushes, rollers or sponges? I was totally unprepared for the decisions, I think I need to do some more research (or get help).

After looking at the tablet options open to my parents, a new one has appeared that might prove to be a solution. The Asus Fonepad has 3G,in fact it is a phone as well as a 7 inch tablet (not a new idea, my first Viewsonic tablet was in fact just a big phone).

Been looking for a cheap tablet with 3G for my parents so they can use Skype. I thought I'd found a good deal but there are issues with the built in microphone, so in the process of sending it back. Looked in the UK and found the StarPad, which has a 9 inch screen and two cameras. Looks perfect on paper but I can't get it sent here, so not sure about ordering online enquiry just yet.

Not having much luck with items purchased off the internet recently. I am about to return the second one in as many weeks. The first one was a change of mind, I didn't want to be stuck with an electric toothbrush that I could not get new heads for and the second is in my view defective, what's the point of having a tablet designed for view chatting if no one can hear you. The refund for the first one of these returns has turned up, minus the postage fee and a restocking fee. I am waiting to hear whether the company will accept my second return (they are from two different suppliers).

I might have several profiles out there on the internet but still not comfortable with instant contacts, I need to build a repoire with the other person first - that's the key, we are both people with needs and I care what they want and hope that they fill the same about me - I am not a body but a person.

Enjoying a quiet drink of bubbly before taking the ferry back to Hobart. Amazing gallery with a very eclectic mix of pieces. I've enjoyed the visit but happy to return sooner than originally planned.
