Movida

Got to try out MoVida just off Flinders Street, some interesting food and the most enjoyable was the vegetables.

Airport Run

I'm just back from collecting Graham and his friend Ed, from their flight on Qatar Airways. Even after waiting for the airplane to land before setting off, still waited an hour for them to appear. Delivered them to their hotel and will catch up with them tomorrow evening. I think I may have been picked up speeding, it will be unfair if I have as usually I stick to the limit, but I doubt I was doing 60 just before the on ramp for the citylink.

Brunch on a Saturday

Paul had other arrangements for Sunday so we caught up for brunch on Saturday instead.

Boxing Bacchus Marsh

Family get together at Avan's place. Nice to meet Angus and Sophie.

Christmas Hastings

Down to Hastings with cousin and others. Good day apart from the migraine in the evening.

Returned to the fold

Picked up my iPhone 5 today and spent the evening setting it up and ordering a few accessories. It's smaller than the 8X but larger than the Atrix.

Coming back to the fold

Been offered a iphone 5 at a very reasonable price and decides to come back to Apple. I will be dropping the Atrix as I have become rather fond of the HTC  8x.

Feedback on Fresh Air

Terry and Shaun heard my show and said we were very quiet, but they listened to whole show.

Christmas Fresh Air

Busy Saturday and early start, in the CBD by 10am to do a couple of interviews for later in the day. Came back to the radio station after shopping and getting a hair cut. Enjoyed this Fresh Air, I hope people enjoyed it.

Met the intern

Seems like a really nice guy, don't want to scare him off the public sector.

Deposit down

Had a troubled night hoping that I had done everything correct to get the deposit cheque to the developers conveyancing company. Got the confirmation this afternoon that it had been added to my original holding deposit.

Blood letting

Thankfully not in the biblical fashion, just a couple of test tubes full to test for iron, cholesterol and prostate cancer.

Doctors orders

Finally saw a doctor to get a referral to a gastro specialist, didn't want to use the same one again, but I didn't speak up and I'm going back to Dr Brett again.

Joyous

Been invited to a party at Joy for Taste of Radio graduates.

Goose chasing

Trying to get to an answer when you don't know the starting point is normal fruitless bur always frustrating.

Delicate

Stilling slightly off sorts,  felt rather uncomfortable after dinner, just too much for my recovering stomach. Good lesson,  don't jump back in and take things easy after a bout of gastro.

Almost human again

The stomach churning has settled down and the exhaustion has subsided so I guess I must be on the mend.

Missing

Pulled out of radio and work today, feeling sick everytime I move, spent virtually all day in bed. Not a good day today.

Physio this

Went to see Travis again about my back or more precisely the pain the travels down my right leg. Going back to see him again before Christmas.

Le Cageful of fun

Watched the final performance of La Cage aux Folles at the Art Centre in the Playhouse with Todd McKenna. There were lots of celebs in the audience and it was an excellent show, with a fair bit of extra adlibbing thrown in to the final performance.

First Christmas Lunch

Had the group lunch and although on the expensive side the goodness very good. I got my very own starter and desert, but the main was the same as it was gluten free.

Panelling coming along

Had to panel on World Wide Wave and I was happier with my performance, of course there was room for improvement, need to learn to do different things with each hand, but getting there. No major panics just need to smooth out the transitions.

Transactional Analysis

Had my first session and came away with a "tool". Feeling better already, which is illogical, since there has been no change, but one of the main issues has been more flexible at the moment, but then there isn't much option with the rest of the team away.

First session lined up

Going to the EAP company tomorrow. Been invited to the last day of training,  but have to name sure I am back into for the circus show.
