One day at a time

Frustration is building at work, D just keeps throwing things at me and outside other matters are distracting me. Appreciated a quiet night and although I'll miss working on Around the World it will be nice not to have a earlier bedtime on Thursdays.

Robyn was back this week and Anne Louise is back next week, so my standing duties have come to an end. What I learnt is that I need to talk more, not interrupt and follow the run sheet. Definitely pre-read the live read a couple of times before actually doing it. 

Ordered a pair of sunglasses off the internet. Got a tracking code to follow their delivery and found a card in my post box.  Apparently this courier company doesn't realise this is the 22nd century and expects someone to be home all day or to collect the package from a way out of town local.  I don't thiink either eill be happened so asked for a refund and blamed the courier for failing to deliver the item. 

Taking the tram into the city, will increase my cardio walking to work. 

Taken the car in for a service and it's also being inspected for a recall fault on the Suzuki Swift steering 

Scuffed the rear passenger wheel, so will have to find out how much is costs to repair an alloy wheel 😟😟

I have had a very nice stay in Horsham and that is because of the Comfort Inn Capital motel. They include as standard many items which main "better" hotels would be won optional extra at an extra cost. Highly recommend the Capital to anyone staying in Horsham.

Why is it easy to spot faults in others that we can not see in ourselves?

Did the panelling on World Wide Wave and then pre-recorded the show for Around the World. 

Finally met Brian and he is a very nice chap, easy to talk to and sociable. Hope to see more of him over time. 

After a delayed start, due to a dead phone, my cousin and I drove down to see our aunt and take her out to lunch.  Had a very nice meal and forewent my usual desert. 

Staff are always a challenge but seem so much more when they are on the way out either through retirement or redeployment. 

Just don't feel sleepy when I get home after Around the World. Might have to pre-record the show next week, has Harry has a MC gig next Thursday. 

After a few hundred pointless searches I've possibly had some success making contact with like minded guys. Too early to say where it will go and will they hold up to comparison to Michael, only time will tell. 

I'm never happy when I spend a weekend by myself. Frustrated in several ways none of which are good for me.  One positive note, I finally made it back to the gym!!

Spending too long on fruitless searches online for at least some one reasonable, but not getting any interest. Losing patience with guys who feel sorry for themselves because they keep attracting the wrong types, at least they are attracting some body. 

Had a full day in the office and manged to knock a couple of things off my list of tasks, but not completed it. 

Had fun with Harry and Barbara on Around the World. More to come on with at least two more programs. 

Final day of traveling this week, with a presentation in Bendigo. I drove today and like the car but not the brakes. Felt a bit soft, and not so sharp as my Swift.  I felt the presentation went better today, apart from Murray repeating what I had just said so wasn't paying attention. 

Long drive long lunch and then short meeting. Still more tomorrow before returning to Melbourne. 

Was back on the radio this week and it was better with a smaller number of participants. We talked about Pride events around the world. 

Effectively been out of the office for a week. So much to do, this is not the best time to be out of contact.
