One day at a time

I'm really over all the expenses lately, removalist, car insurance, replacement car tyre. Every way I turn there's more to pay. Now have to move my internet service because Spintel can't connect me, yet more expense.

Got a puncture on my car, a bolt has stuck into one of the rear wheels. Bob Jane are the only place to stock the same brand of types. 

Got a message from my internet provider that they were unable to tell me when I will be getting ADSL as there are no more available ports at the exchange.

Christmas lunch turned into a pleasant family affair, spent a couple of hours with my aunt, cousin and her family. I think my aunt appreciated seeing and chatting to her brother before the lunch as well. When I got home I found fire engines outside my new apartments, the fence between them and the building site next door was being hosed down. Thankfully there was no damage to the building but the fence and retaining wall inside the car park have been damaged.

Looks like the amount of my settlement was incorrect and short $700, but sounds like it could be complicated to fix.  However Origin have promised to fix my problem about my account and I had a telephone line installed today. 

First get a message from Origin that my electricity hasn't been disconnected because they could access the meter! Then worked my settlement is short $710. Not the best day I've had!

Got a message from a friend that he's gone to hospital because he felt light headed, probably caused by his excess high blood pressure, but what's causing that in the first place?

Went out with Brian, Cam and Tom. Was a gastro food trip, ice cream starters, followed by wine tasting and lunch in Healsville. Enjoyed the day every much.

The property settled and took delivery of my new car, all on the same day.

Meeting my real estate agent soon to pass on the remaining keys for my apartment and then later on I will be handing my car keys over together the car for my new vehicle. 

Spent the weekend driving back and forth from Brunswick to Moorabbin, hate to think how much I have spent on Citylink tolls. Campbell has been wonderful, helping me pack and move. Still one more day to go when the removalists will take all the big stuff over.

Getting to breaking point. Been pestering the car dealer with very little success, I shouldn't need to call four times for one call back! The shine has completely gone from the purchase and if there was a way out of it, I would be taking it. Now I can't have the car for another week as there is a fault in the paint work. When I'm busy it doesn't get me down but when I'm quiet it hits hard. On top of this the phone line in the rental apartment won't be connected until 16 December although the order has been cancelled AGAIN on my account list.

Picking up the new car early Saturday morning

Radio and two Christmas events are occupying my week when I should be sorting, packing and moving things to my new apartment.

Made two trips to Bentleigh today, first with food and second with clothing. There is still plenty more to move over the next week.

Its been nearly 12 months since the last time  I saw my friend Dave, but doesn't matter. That's the test of a good friend.

Packed the first two of many more boxes before the move later in December.

Taken the day off to prepare for the move, spent morning sorting through I no longer need and got rid of a load of clothing. Been hit by a spell of diarrhea so resting at the moment. Will carry on this afternoon once I've recovered. 

Spending Wednesday sorting through my clothing and working what I should take with me to the new apartment and what will I never wear again!
