Australia Day Break - 2012

Flew up to Brisbane for a long weekend break in not so sunny Brisbane. Took Air Australia flight from Melbourne, comfortable but not remarkably different from other domestic airlines.

Brisbane is warm and humid, but not uncomfortable. Staying at what was the Portal Hotel & I'm sure that my previous room had a microwave, but this one does not. It is fine for a single person but two might find it cramped.

Had dinner with my friends Sox and Doug at a local pub, and it was an enjoyable evening.

Caught up with Sox & Doug, drank some wine and had a nice dinner out in Brisbane at the Sportmans Hotel, not far from the hotel.
