One day at a time

Had Brian and Cam over for dinner, dinner yet off and very interesting conversation. Learnt more about them both. 

Don't think I am impressing my manager.

Had another very enjoyable evening with Mikey, well feed on Moussaka and entertained by Agatha Raisin.

Went to the gym this evening and I was the only person there. Bit eerie and tempted to take a selfie but didn't. 

The canceled accommodation removed a cancellation fee of £10. Unfortunately that's turned into a reduction of $35 due changes in the exchange rate. 

Got the dilemma that the work I'm need to do has been requested by two different Treasurers' offices. Which one is more important?

No water, feels so primitive

Arranged to go up to Sydney for a weekend while Vivid is on, coincides with the Queens Birthday public holiday here in Victoria. Flying on Tiger 🐯 Air, so will be leavin from the portacabin and returning via the cage.

Never been one of my strong suits is letting go, I do hold a grudge for a very long time. Suppose I should move on but if I feel there is injustice and particularly towards me, I will try to find a way to get justice or revenge depending on the which is easier to obtain.

Had brunch, but no Brian, he was on his way to Thailand.  Went to the gym but did little else. 

Wondering about that the matter further at work. What the steps would be and what my complaint would be?

I've cancelled the student accommodation and booked 7 nights at a central London Travelodge instead, because it was cheaper and more conveniently located.

Once again, I traveled down to Hastings, this time with Campbell and took Buster out for lunch. Got 25% off the bill because of whom I'd booked with. Came home via Moorrabin and saw what's left of the display suite.

What magical power does paper have over us, why is it more desirable to have information in hard copy as opposed to reading it off a screen, its the same information, the medium doesn't change it or does it?

Had a very uncomfortable meeting and at one point I felt I was being accused for something that I had nothing to do with. I'm not prepared to put up with that treatment again.

In bed by 9.30pm for no other reason than I am bored.

Going to see Strictly Ballroom with Brian, Tom and Cam, but not until June. Can is organising the tickets even though it was originally my idea, but happy for him to sort that out if he wants.

Would be nice to be involved in the decisions made about my work rather than just told be a colleague, rather than my manager. 

Spent today laid up with stuffed sinuses, with a headache and dizzy spells. Got as far as showered and breakfast before I gave up and called in sick. Spent the day on my bed sleeping.  Called off catching up with Mike but seeing him Saturday evening and looks like I've got a group going to see Strictly Ballroom in June. 

Over 75% sold, Demolition has commenced and  settlement on track for late 2016.  

I'm not getting a lot of joy from volunteering at Joy. I feel like I'm taken for granted, I'm good enough to press a few buttons, but not to be a co-host.

Brian came over and invited Tom and Cam along to watch Into the Woods, enjoyed the movie and having them over although was worrying about it all day, not knowing what they would expect or what I'm was supposed to provide as the host. Got a box of chocolates out of it. 

In the end I didn't go with Airbnb but went with student accommodation, on the Strand no less. First night I'm staying close to Heathrow and staying at one of the Premier Inns close to the airport. 

Didn't venture very far today, although partly enforced, was happy to stay for the most part. I don't think that much would have been opened any way. Unfortunately didn't get much sorted out for my trip to the UK.
