Week 22 - Isolation

Melbourne continues to be subject to Stage 4 restrictions, basically everyone is supposed to stay home and only travel no more than 5 km for essential reasons (shopping, care-giving and exercise).

On the brighter side, my new phone has arrived finally (it was only a week late). I'm happy with it, especially the battery life. After three days, I managed to drain it and its now recharging (which I assume will take some time). I ordered a third party screen protector for it, but I think its already got one fitted, so I have put the one I bought away. I am still waiting on the charging stand to arrive (it is late too).

Unfortunately no sign of the reusable masks that I ordered. I have contacted the sellers and they had some personal issues which delayed the send out of their orders, but that was a week ago now. In addition there has been a note put in the apartment's lift that someones delivery has gone missing from the foyer, so unfortunately sounds like one or more tenants are helping themselves to other people's deliveries.

Work is progressing, although the deadlines keep being missed and stretched so people can get information in. Unfortunately delays in this product will have a knock on impact on the next product.

I wasn't feeling very happy over the last couple of days, no particular reason, I guess its just the cumulative effects of being locked up in an apartment for weeks and weeks. There is a date set for the end of stage 4 but there is no guarantee that it will not be extended further. It was the relaxing of restrictions (together with weak controls at quarantine hotels) that created the problem Melbourne is in now, so who knows what will happen when Stage 4 is eventually lifted.

I plan to spend a good part of this weekend cleaning, the bedroom's en suite needs a good clean, particularly the shower. What I don't want to do is spend most the weekend sitting surfing the web, there is plenty time to do that during the week. I also want to make sure that I am more active this weekend even if the weather is not that great (its raining at the moment).
