Week 28 - Lock Down

The weather has improved (I'm wearing shorts for the first time) and the infection rate is now in single figures, so it is looking good for further reductions in the restrictions.

Work is still frustrating me, there is no plan I am aware for the latest project so I'm just going through the process blind until we are given a timetable.

All of my deliveries have now arrived and I should remember that River clothes are on the generous size, I probably could have gone one size lower in most of the purchases. It's  better that they are slightly too big than slightly too small.

So it was my birthday this week and on my special day, I did not work! Well that it all I could do this year, normally I spend my birthday on holiday somewhere else in this country, but this year that was not possible. Although there is good news with the opening of flights between New Zealand and Australia, although at the moment, only New Zealanders can come here and it's only two regions of Australia.

I moved my roadside assistance to another company, as my current droppoed the ability to pay monthly.I have gone with RACV, which is more expensive than some of the competitors, but their basic cover only costs $10 a month. I will also be changing my electricity provider as my current one is putting up their prices following the end of my contract.

I am happy with the new noise cancelling ear pods, although I have played with the silicon tips and using some others that give a better seal in the ear and help with the noise cancellation. The bass is very impressive on such small ear pods and connection is relatively stable.

I've been busy editing a interview done for the radio program that I volunteer on and hopefully the edits are acceptable to rest of the people on the program. The interview lasted for over 40 minutes so there was a lot to pick from since we only use about 20 of it on the show.

I keep having dreams about forgetting my mask and I think that comes from the fire evacuation when I forgot to put mine on, I can't decide if there is another evacuation ion the future whether to take my cat with me, unfortunately the carrier would be too bulky on the stairs and he struggles when just in the harness,  plus it takes time to put in either.
