Week 30 - Stay Home
The good news is that some of the restrictions will be lifted from midnight today, which means I will be able to wash the car at a commercial self serve car wash and also go to get my hair cut tomorrow. Other than those and the lifting of the 5 km limit to 25 km limit for shopping, the rest of the major restrictions will stay in place until 2 November, when we will move from Stay Home to Stay Safe!
In other news, my elderly aunt had a fall this week and has been in hospital for the last couple of days. She does not seem to be seriously injured but has been kept in for observation and tests, which included a COVID test, which has thankfully come back negative (and no one has been able to visit until that was confirmed).
I went to her house to make sure it was okay and to clear up a little after her accident. I don't think I made much of a dent in the cleaning of the carpet, but my friend has a proper carpet cleaning and we will take it down next weekend to have a better go at the carpet.
I have been trying different mobile broadband services now that I have a new 4G+ modem and I have found that Optus is the best one for me, so I am going back to Circle.Life since they are the most reasonable. I am transferring my Telstra pre-paid to them, its actually a nice number but I don't know if I can port a data service. The SIM should arrive early next week and I can then cancel my Vodafone service.
I can feel that I am getting stressed by work and the amount that has to be done to get the figures ready.
